We are the longest established hog roast caterer in Wirral, Merseyside, and Cheshire. With over 18 years of multi award winning experience, we cater for all events including weddings, corporate functions, and private parties with delicious hog roasts, paella, and more!

At Manna Foods, we bring the Wirral’s best rare breed hog roasts, rotisserie chicken and paella parties directly to you and your guests in the comfort of your own home, event location or workplace with warm friendliness, extensive experience and care.

From the earliest days until today, my passion for quality produce from outstanding local producers and farmers, has helped me serve our delicious multi award winning food at parties, weddings, corporate events and at festivals and funerals all over the Wirral, Merseyside and Cheshire.

It all started with Hog Roasting at Wirral, Merseyside & Cheshire farmers' markets where I dedicated myself to only roasting the best rare breed pigs from Leahurst, and other carefully selected local suppliers. Getting the stuffing rights as well as only ever making the apple sauce ourselves and using local bakers meant we quickly won our first award back in 2009 from none other than Marco Pierre White for one thing only: the taste!

Back in 2012 I was asked to consider providing paella, salads and bread for a friend's wedding but the only thing that concerned me was that I had never cooked a paella in my life! Ever dedicated to ensuring the best quality food is served I asked the guy's Mum, born and raised in the gorgeous food mecca of Granada if she would teach me and the rest is history. I imported pans directly from Valencia and our paella parties are now legendary.

The pandemic was a huge test of all outside caterers and when I was no longer able to hog roast I moved to the wonderful world of afternoon teas and platter catering. Not content with buying cakes and pastries in and pretending they were mine I set about creating the best homemade afternoon teas and amazing seafood, Spanish, Italian and Ploughman's platters that money could buy.

It's been a journey but all throughout my same dedication to food quality and provenance has helped me to build Manna Foods into the business it has become today.
